The project entails an investment of about Rs.2,020 million, with construction planned from April 2026 to December 2027. The proposal has been submitted for environmental clearance as of January 2026.

Initial pre-project activities began in June 2025. The expansion will increase production capacity to 6,000 MTPA for ingots and superalloys, 6,000 MTPA for forging, and 2,500 MTPA for castings, with a total investment of Rs. 10,000 million. Construction is scheduled from June 2026 to October 2027, with environmental clearance submitted to the State Level Authority.
