    New Coke Oven Plant in Magalore, Karnataka

    A new coke oven plant and ductile iron spun plant with a capacity of 1.8 lakh and 2 lakh tonnes per annum respectively, is being set up in Panambur, Mangalore, with an investment of Rs. 8369 Million. The project has received green clearance in March 2020 and is under progress. It is expected to boost the steel industry, generate employment opportunities, and benefit the region's economy.
