The project has received Consent to Establish (Expansion) from the State Pollution Control Board.

Initially proposed in September 2024 with a ₹2,175.649 million investment for 60,600 MTPA of biscuits and rusks, the project received approval by August 2026 for expansion. The expanded setup adds 60,000 MTPA for biscuits/rusks and 9,000 MTPA for cakes, involving an additional ₹1,498 million investment.
