The project, costing an estimated Rs. 48000 million, aims to produce Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Cathode Active Material crucial for electric vehicle batteries. Phase I, with a capacity of 40,000 MTPA and an investment of Rs. 1,125 crore, is expected to be operational in 27 to 36 months. The company envisions a total capacity of 200,000 MTPA in successive phases, targeting 100 GWh of Li-ion Battery production. As of December 2023, pre-project activities are in progress.
