    A pesticide technical grade manufacturing unit is being expanded from an existing capacity of 300 MT/month to a proposed 1001 MT/month, covering herbicide, fungicide, insecticide and intermediate chemical groups, within the existing plant premises at GIDC Dahej-II Industrial Estate. Standard ToR has been granted by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with the project now proceeding toward EIA study and Environmental Clearance. No additional land is being acquired, and operational employment is expected to rise from 75 to 150 permanent workers.

The project, costing Rs. 129 Million, has received Consent to Establish from the State Pollution Control Board and is presently at the environmental clearance stage. The unit will operate on a mixing/blending and granulation basis without any organic chemical synthesis, pesticide formulation, liquid formulation or boiler installation.

    An existing ammonium nitrate (120 TPD) and nitric acid (170 TPD @ 60% concentration) manufacturing unit is upgrading its effluent treatment and disposal system, replacing onland irrigation disposal with a multi-stage Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system comprising UF/RO trains and mechanical evaporation. The State Pollution Control Board has issued modification of the Consent to Establish order for this upgrade. The unit shall obtain Consent to Operate before commissioning the ZLD system.
