    A pharmaceutical formulation unit at Shapoorji Pallonji Biotechnology Park, Kolthur, is undergoing expansion with an outlay of Rs.490 million. The expansion replaces earlier approved product lines with a new basket of 30 formulations, each with a proposed capacity of 40 million units/annum. The State Pollution Control Board has granted Consent to Establish for the expansion, with Consent for Operation to follow before commencement of activity.

    A new manufacturing facility is being planned at Genome Valley in Hyderabad with an investment of around Rs 150 crore. The plant will produce existing pharmaceutical products along with upcoming nano-formulation products, including a nano-carrier Vitamin D3 oral dispersion that recently received DCGI approval. The facility is expected to be completed in about two years.
