    An oleochemicals manufacturing unit is expanding its production capacity for distilled fatty acid, distilled fatty acid grade IV, and crude glycerin at its Kurkumbh MIDC facility. The State Pollution Control Board has granted Consent to Establish for the expansion, which adds to the unit's existing capital investment of Rs. 653.87 Million. The project is currently at the environmental clearance stage, with commissioning to follow within the consent validity period.

As of February 2026, the proposal has been submitted to the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority for environmental clearance.
