    An existing ammonium nitrate (120 TPD) and nitric acid (170 TPD @ 60% concentration) manufacturing unit is upgrading its effluent treatment and disposal system, replacing onland irrigation disposal with a multi-stage Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system comprising UF/RO trains and mechanical evaporation. The State Pollution Control Board has issued modification of the Consent to Establish order for this upgrade. The unit shall obtain Consent to Operate before commissioning the ZLD system.

The project is currently at the environmental clearance stage, with Consent to Operate and trial production yet to follow.
