    A new manufacturing facility for tractors, construction equipment and allied products is being set up in YEIDA Sector 10 with an investment of Rs 2,025 crore. The first phase is planned to have an annual production capacity of 60,000 tractors and 15,000 construction equipment units. The project is expected to generate more than 3,800 jobs and was announced as part of the UP-Japan Investment Meet.

The project is currently under verification with MoEFCC for fresh Environmental Clearance and is at the planning/land-acquisition stage, with Consent to Establish yet to be obtained. Expected to generate significant employment once operational, with around 900 permanent jobs.
