    State government is planning to take up new green field airport project in Uttar Pradesh. The project involves construction of Jewar International Airport with 60-65 Million Persons Per Annum(MPPA) and 4.0 Million Tonnes of Cargo (to be developed in 4 Phases with initial capacity of 12.5 MPPA and 0.70 MT Cargo); Project Area: 1334Ha. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.72820 million. As of now, environment clearance for the project is underway.
