Waaree Energies has secured two solar module supply orders totalling 524 MW from renewable energy companies.
These orders include 364 MWp and 160 MWp from major companies engaged in owning, developing, and operating renewable power projects across India.
The delivery is scheduled to commence in the ongoing financial year 2024-25 and will extend till 2025-26. These orders solidify Waaree Energies' growing presence in India's solar energy market.
With a cumulative photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing capacity of 12 GW as of 30 June, 2023, Waaree operates five facilities located in Surat, Tumb, Nandigram, Chikhli (all in Gujarat), and Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
This extensive capacity positions Waaree as a significant contributor to the country’s RE targets and a supplier for major green energy initiatives.
