Vipul Organics Commences Commercial Production At Greenfield Sayakha Pigment Facility, Gujarat
Vipul Organics Limited has commenced commercial production at its greenfield manufacturing facility in Sayakha, Gujarat, marking the transition of the plant from construction to commercial operations. The company marked the milestone with a formal Muhurat ceremony.
As part of a broader footprint-rationalisation strategy, Vipul Organics is consolidating its pigment manufacturing operations from its existing facility in Tarapur, Maharashtra, into the new Sayakha hub. The facility has been designed to support annual pigment production capacity of more than 3,600 MT, with initial production set at around 1,800 MT, leaving room for further capacity ramp-up.
The plant is spread across 24,633.11 square metres on an industrial plot acquired from the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), located within Gujarat's Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR). Its location on the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, close to the proposed Dedicated Freight Corridor and adjacent to Dahej Port, is intended to strengthen the company's access to both domestic and export markets.
Beyond pigments, Sayakha is being developed as a consolidated manufacturing base for Vipul Organics. The site also houses membrane manufacturing operations under the company's unit AdiMem Technologies, which began commercial sales of Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes earlier this year.
Vipul Organics Managing Director Vipul P Shah said the Sayakha facility is designed to expand pigment powder capacity and bring the company's membrane and solvent dyes capabilities under one roof, with production expected to stabilise and contribute meaningfully to capacity and revenue diversification through FY 2026-27.
