Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Approves 69.52-Acre PRAGATI Robotics and AI Park in Greater Noida, With ₹147.3 Crore Public Support for Zone 1

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approved the PRAGATI robotics and AI park in Greater Noida on October 27, 2026. PRAGATI stands for Platform for Robotics and AI Growth Through Technology and Innovation. The park will cover about 69.52 acres. The state expects it to create more than 1 lakh direct and indirect jobs.

The park will be developed in two zones. Zone 1 covers eight acres. It will be developed and operated by a special purpose vehicle (SPV) under a public-private partnership. The Greater Noida Authority will hold 26 per cent of the SPV and an industrial partner will hold 74 per cent. Commercial operations are targeted within 36 months of the SPV’s registration.

Public support for Zone 1 totals ₹147.3 crore. The Greater Noida Authority will put in ₹21.1 crore as equity. The state government will give an interest-free loan of ₹126.2 crore for 30 years. The lease premium for the eight-acre plot will be reimbursed to the Authority through the state IT and Electronics Department. The state says Zone 2 carries no capital liability for it.

The park will offer shared facilities. These include robotics testing and certification centres, rapid prototyping facilities, AI computing infrastructure and motion-capture systems. It is also meant to support testing against global standards, including CE and UL certification. The park is expected to add about ₹2,000 crore annually to the state economy.
