Bihar State Power Generation Company has invited bids for the selection of an EPC contractor for a grid-connected 116 MW AC solar PV power plant with an integrated 50.5 MW/241 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at Kajra, Lakhisarai.

The contract, valued at Rs 1,064.17 crore, includes survey, design, engineering, supply, procurement, installation, erection, construction, and commissioning on an EPC basis, followed by 10 years of operation and maintenance. It aims to enhance renewable energy capacity, integrating solar power with battery storage for improved reliability.

The last date to submit the bid is 10 April, 2025.
