Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for an Amazon Web Services (AWS) hyperscale data centre at Bharat Future City near Hyderabad. The project involves a ₹60,000 crore investment over the next decade, with 300 acres allotted for the campus and the first phase scheduled for completion within 24 months.
The facility will expand AWS's cloud and AI infrastructure in India, strengthen Hyderabad's position as a leading data centre hub, and support sectors including AI, cloud computing, digital banking, healthcare, e-commerce and government services.
