Tata Projects and MDS Aero Support Partner to Develop Aero-Engine Testing Infrastructure in India

Tata Projects has entered a strategic partnership with Canada-based MDS Aero Support Corporation to advance aero-engine testing infrastructure in India. The companies announced the collaboration on September 28, 2026. It aims to support testing infrastructure for the country's growing aerospace and propulsion sector.

 

Tata Projects will lead the key infrastructure elements. These include civil and structural works, MEP, high-air-pressure systems, HVAC, high-temperature exhaust systems, cooling-water systems and associated site infrastructure.

 

MDS Aero Support will provide the design, engineering, supply, integration, commissioning and lifecycle support of advanced gas turbine engine test facilities and systems.

 

MDS was founded in 1985. It has delivered gas turbine engine testing projects in more than 27 countries. The company has also developed turnkey test capabilities for engine components across the aviation, defence and industrial markets.
