Medanta Operator Global Health Acquires 10,560 Sq. M Ghaziabad Land for ₹165.82 Crore to Develop 350-Plus Bed Hospital
Global Health Limited, which operates hospitals under the Medanta brand, has been allotted a land parcel in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The parcel measures 10,560.36 sq. m and is in Siddharth Vihar Yojna. The Uttar Pradesh Housing & Development Board (UPAVP) allotted it through an online auction on a freehold basis. The price is about ₹165.82 crore. The company received the allotment letter dated 26 September 2026 on 28 September and disclosed it on 29 September.
The site can accommodate a hospital of more than 350 beds. The project is subject to customary statutory approvals and approval by the company's Board of Directors. The facility is planned to offer tertiary and quaternary care. It will serve Ghaziabad, eastern Delhi, Meerut, Saharanpur, Hapur, Bulandshahr and western Uttar Pradesh.
Global Health Group CEO and Director Pankaj Sahni described Ghaziabad as a long-term healthcare opportunity within Delhi-NCR. The hospital would complement Medanta's existing Noida hospital.
Global Health currently runs six hospitals, in Gurgaon, Indore, Ranchi, Lucknow, Patna and Noida, with 3,737 installed beds. Management is evaluating next steps and preparing a detailed project plan for the Ghaziabad site.
