State Highways Authority of Jharkhand Floats ₹223.14 Crore Tender for Elevated Road at Argora Chowk, Ranchi
The State Highways Authority of Jharkhand (SHAOJ) has invited bids for the construction of an elevated road and flyover at Argora Chowk in Ranchi. The project runs from Harmu, near Kavs Restaurant, to Dibdih Bridge near Sailors Knot Restaurant, with additional legs extending toward Kathal More Chaputoli and Ashok Nagar near Road No. 3, and includes a service road.
The tender, updated on July 18, 2026, carries an estimated value of ₹223.14 crore. The submission deadline for bids has been set for August 20, 2026.
The project forms part of SHAOJ's broader push to develop elevated road and flyover infrastructure in Ranchi to ease traffic congestion at key junctions. It follows other recent tenders floated by the authority in the city, including a four-lane elevated road from Sahajanand Chowk to Judge Colony and a flyover connecting Karamtoli to Science City, reflecting continued investment in urban road infrastructure across the state capital.
