Shree Refrigerations Limited Commissions 50,000 Sq Ft IGBC-Compliant Defence and Marine HVAC Manufacturing Facility at Karad, Satara District, Maharashtra
Shree Refrigerations Limited, one of India's leading defence-focused manufacturers of advanced refrigeration and HVAC systems, inaugurated its new manufacturing facility at Karad in Satara district, Maharashtra on June 20, 2026. The facility expands the company's manufacturing footprint by 50,000 square feet and has been developed across 6 acres.
The new facility is equipped with robotic welding, laser cutting, bending, a paint shop and modern shot blast equipment, and has been developed with complete backward integration capabilities. It has been built in compliance with Indian Green Building Council standards and has been designed with provisions for an additional 50,000 square feet expansion at the same location.
Shree Refrigerations is the only Indian firm holding naval registrations across Chillers and Refrigeration Plants, Turnkey HVAC&R Solutions, and Electrical Control Panels. The company reported over 100 per cent year-on-year and half-on-half revenue growth in H2 FY26 and over 50 per cent year-on-year growth for full year FY26.
Ravalnath Gopinath Shende, Chairman and Managing Director of Shree Refrigerations, said the new facility will enhance the company's ability to design, manufacture, test and integrate specialised cooling solutions for demanding applications where reliability, durability and performance are critical.
