Infrastructure  -  Nov 12,2024  -

Serentica Renewables, a key player in the renewable energy sector, has announced its plans to establish a series of green energy projects across Andhra Pradesh, with an ambitious target of generating 10 gigawatts (GW) of clean energy. The initiative aims to significantly contribute to the state's renewable energy capacity and support India's efforts to meet its climate goals.

The company’s projects will include the development of solar and wind energy capacities, utilizing the state's abundant natural resources. These efforts will not only enhance the local energy infrastructure but also create numerous job opportunities, boosting the region’s economy.

In addition to energy generation, Serentica Renewables intends to collaborate with local stakeholders and authorities to ensure the integration of these renewable resources into the existing grid. The projects will help improve the reliability of energy supply while reducing carbon emissions, aligning with India’s broader objective of achieving net-zero emissions by 2070.

This move by Serentica Renewables highlights the growing commitment to sustainable energy sources in India and Andhra Pradesh’s role as a hub for renewable energy development.
