Sedemac Mechatronics has commenced limited commercial production at its newly constructed plant in Pune, Maharashtra. The unit is designated Manufacturing Facility 3. The company disclosed the development in a filing to the stock exchanges.

The facility adds to Sedemac's existing manufacturing sites at Chakan and Wadgaon Budruk. Sedemac is a powertrain and mechatronics supplier.

The company will bring the remaining manufacturing lines and processes at the site into operation in phases. It plans further disclosures as the plant moves toward full-scale commercial operations.
