Dilip Buildcon Emerges L-1 Bidder for ₹1,840 Crore Maharashtra Projects: ₹688 Crore Solapur NH-65 Elevated Corridor and ₹1,151 Crore Yavatmal 400 kV Transmission Substation

Infrastructure Sep 28,2026

Dilip Buildcon Limited has been declared the lowest (L-1) bidder for two infrastructure projects in Maharashtra. Their combined value is ₹1,839.70 crore, excluding GST. L-1 is a bidding stage and not a final contract award.

The first project is a four-lane elevated corridor with approaches on NH-65 in Solapur city. NHAI has declared the company L-1 for the corridor, which runs 9.66 km from Old Pune Naka to Boramani Naka. The project value is ₹688.23 crore, excluding GST. It will be executed in Hybrid Annuity Mode, with 24 months for construction followed by 15 years of operation.

The second project is the development and operation of the 400 kV AIS Yavatmal (Babhulgaon) transmission system, including a substation in Yavatmal district. RECPDCL, acting as bid process coordinator for the Maharashtra State Transmission Utility, has selected Dilip Buildcon as the successful bidder. The project is under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. The value is ₹1,151.47 crore, and the construction period is 24 months.

The Yavatmal award follows a ₹1,265 crore 400 kV GIS Solapur/Paranda switching station project at Dharashiv, Maharashtra. The company was declared the successful bidder for that project in September.
