Resolven's Ganeko Four Energy Wins 200 MW in SECI's 2 GW Wind Power Auction
The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced the winners of its auction to develop 2,000 MW of interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind power projects on a Build-Own-Operate basis. Of the total tendered capacity, only 1,495 MW was awarded across 12 developers.
Ganeko Four Energy, a Resolven entity, secured 200 MW in the auction, matching the capacity won by NLC India Renewables. Gentari Renewables India Castor One emerged as the lowest bidder (L1), winning 200 MW at a tariff of ₹3.78 per kWh, while the remaining winning bidders, including Resolven, secured their allocations at a tariff of ₹3.85 per kWh.
Other winners in the auction included Purvah Green Power (CESC), which secured 175 MW; Torrent Green Energy, which won 150 MW; Halvad Renewables (EDF Renewables India), which secured 130 MW; Adyant Enersol (Datta Infra), which bagged 110 MW; Powerica, which won 100 MW; Refex Green Power, which won 80 MW; and Opera Energy, Ayana Renewable Power and Atriwal Infrastructure, which each secured 50 MW.
The successful developers, including Resolven, will now enter into power purchase agreements with SECI under the tariff-based competitive bidding framework, adding to the growing pipeline of ISTS-connected wind capacity being developed across India as the country continues to scale up its renewable energy generation base.
