Odisha Approves 23 Industrial Projects Worth ₹4,573.87 Crore Across 11 Districts
The Odisha government has approved 23 industrial projects worth ₹4,573.87 crore, expected to create 22,873 jobs, at the 148th State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg. The projects span 11 districts and align with the state's Samruddha Odisha 2036 vision.
Major approvals include HCL Technologies' ₹730 crore Global Development Centre in Khordha (6,000 jobs), ACME Cleantech's ₹778 crore alkaline electrolyzer plant in Ganjam (480 jobs), GGB Battery India's ₹202.5 crore zinc anode battery unit in Cuttack (254 jobs), and Envirocare Infrasolution's 100 MW captive solar plant in Angul.
The textile sector received four projects across Puri and Bolangir, expected to generate over 10,000 jobs, while chemical projects across Nuapada, Ganjam, Jajpur and Mayurbhanj are projected to create over 1,900 jobs. Other approvals include a 300-bed hospital in Cuttack, Tata Steel's railway siding in Keonjhar, logistics parks, and three five-star hotel projects.
