Rajesh Power Services Wins ₹653.12 Crore PGVCL Order for Underground Cable Network Conversion in Gujarat
Rajesh Power Services Limited has secured turnkey orders worth ₹653.12 crore, inclusive of taxes, from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), a Gujarat state-government undertaking. The contract covers conversion of the existing 11kV High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) overhead line network into an underground cable network.
The scope of work includes installation of a Ring Main System along with GIS mapping and asset tagging. The project will be executed across the Bhavnagar, Anjar, Junagadh, and Porbandar circles of Gujarat, and is scheduled for completion within 18 months of award.
As a turnkey contract, Rajesh Power Services will handle the project from design through completion. The company is an EPC contractor in the power transmission and distribution sector, with operations spanning Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha, offering turnkey execution of GIS and AIS substations, extra-high-voltage power cables, transmission lines, and distribution systems.
The order adds to the company's project pipeline, which stood at ₹3,326 crore including this award. The company reported consolidated sales of ₹1,628 crore for the year ended March 2026, up from ₹1,107 crore in the previous fiscal year.
