Andhra Pradesh Allots 91.38 Acres for ₹1,008-Crore Logistics Park Supporting Google's Visakhapatnam AI Hub
The Andhra Pradesh government has allotted 91.38 acres in Kanamam village, Visakhapatnam, to Ecobox Industrial Asset IV Pvt Ltd for a ₹1,008 crore logistics and light industrial park supporting Google’s proposed India AI Hub. The project is expected to create nearly 5,000 jobs.
The park will be developed in phases with 19.45 lakh sq ft of built-up area, including warehouses, light manufacturing, data centre support facilities, and administrative blocks. Google has selected Ecobox as its preferred logistics infrastructure partner and holds the first right to acquire the facilities after completion.
The project will support Google’s $15 billion AI Hub in Visakhapatnam, planned with around 1 GW data centre capacity across Vizag and Anakapalli, along with partners including AdaniConneX and Nxtra by Airtel.
