Praneetha EcoCables Begins Commercial Production at Greenfield Sanand Facility, Solar Cable Output to Start in October
Praneetha EcoCables Ltd, a Gujarat-based wires and cable manufacturer, has commenced commercial production at its greenfield manufacturing facility in Sanand, dispatching its first batch of bare copper wire on September 20.
The company plans to begin solar cable manufacturing at the facility from October, followed by production of building wires and flexible cables in November, according to Director Pranjal Goel.
For its primary copper requirements, Praneetha EcoCables will source 100 per cent from Kutch Copper Limited, an Adani Group entity that operates India's largest copper smelting facility.
The company also plans to build a pan-India dealership network as it looks to capture a share of India's wire and cable industry, which it pegs at over ₹1 lakh crore currently and projects will grow to approximately ₹1.6 lakh crore by 2030.
