Pramod Confectionery & Food Industries, a renowned manufacturer specializing in namkeen and snacks, has announced ambitious expansion plans to enhance its product portfolio and production capabilities. The company is set to establish a new facility in Bihta, Patna district, Bihar, focusing on bakery products, biscuits, namkeen, and sweets. This expansion project, currently in the planning stage, is projected to cost Rs 150 crore and will have a daily production capacity of 60 tonnes. The new plant is expected to commence operations on April 1, 2026, with an estimated annual turnover of Rs 250 crore.
The state-of-the-art facility will be equipped with machinery sourced from Gujarat and New Delhi, reflecting the company’s commitment to leveraging advanced technology for high-quality production. The project is a public-private partnership initiative, underscoring collaborative efforts to drive regional economic growth. The plant will produce a range of products including biscuits at 18,000 tonnes per annum (tpa), namkeen at 400 tpa, and sweets at 105 tpa, significantly expanding Pramod Confectionery's market presence and catering to a growing consumer base in the region. This strategic move aims to solidify the company’s position in the industry and contribute to the local economy through job creation and increased production capacity.
