Park Medi World to Add 1,450 Hospital Beds Across North India by FY28
Park Medi World is expanding its hospital network across northern India, with plans to add 1,450 beds to its current capacity of 4,290 by FY28, taking total capacity to around 5,740 beds. The expansion was outlined in the company's first annual report since its stock market listing in December 2025, covering fiscal year 2025-26.
The hospital chain is focused on building dense regional clusters across Tier 1, 2 and 3 cities in North India rather than expanding into fragmented geographies, aiming to scale efficiently while maintaining consistency in clinical quality. The company currently has 1,168 doctors across its network and employed 6,423 people as of March 31, 2026.
The expansion strategy combines greenfield hospital construction with acquisitions. Greenfield projects are intended to strengthen long-term presence in target markets, while acquisitions allow faster entry into new markets by leveraging existing infrastructure. So far, Park Medi World has added 11 hospitals to its network through acquisitions. For future acquisitions, the company will target hospitals with existing capacity of 200-250 beds, with potential for expansion to 300-350 beds, prioritising facilities in state capitals and district headquarters near its existing network.
Ongoing greenfield projects include hospitals under development in Ambala, Panchkula, Rohtak, Gorakhpur and Kanpur. The company has also been installing solar panels across its hospitals as part of a transition toward cleaner energy systems.
Park Medi World reported its highest-ever net profit of ₹273.6 crore in FY26, with total revenue of ₹1,679.4 crore, though these financial figures fall outside the scope of this project-related coverage.
