Eleven industrial projects with a total estimated cost of Rs. 3,266 crore have received approval from the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of the Odisha government.
More than 9,000 people could find employment as a result of these initiatives. The enterprises that have been allowed will be built in the state's many districts, including Balasore, Bolangir, Kalhandi, Khurda, and Jajpur.
The chemical manufacturing facility by Himadri Speciality Chemical Limited, which intends to invest over Rs 980 crore, is one of the noteworthy projects.
Nestle also plans to invest more than Rs 890 crore in the establishment of a food manufacturing facility.
Colortone Garments Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of First Step Baby-Wear, intends to establish an integrated apparel manufacturing facility alongside a 1.2 MW rooftop captive solar power plant, with an investment exceeding Rs 200 crore.
