Independent power producers (IPP) in the renewable energy sector have given Sanghvi Movers work orders of Rs 150 crore for the provision of crane rental services and related services.
This includes the building of a wind farm and a storage yard, as well as surface logistics for wind turbine generators (WTG), inter-carting, installation, and pre-commissioning of WTGs.
About half of the overall contract value is made up of crane services, while the remaining half is made up of wind-based EPC service activities.
The contracts are of 18 months duration starting from April, 2023 and ending in October, 2024. Out of the total contract value, 41 percent of the value will be executed in FY24 and the balance will be completed in FY25.
The total order value translates to 539 MW of new capacity addition, with the new order win.
