Odisha Secures ₹2.43 Lakh Crore Investment Proposals During UAE Outreach, 24 MoUs Signed

Odisha secured investment proposals worth approximately ₹2.43 lakh crore during a three-day investor outreach programme in the United Arab Emirates, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi across Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The outreach, which concluded on September 11, resulted in 24 Memoranda of Understanding and investment intents following more than 50 one-on-one investor meetings and roundtable engagements.

 

The proposed investments span sectors including travel and tourism, logistics, finance, processed food, critical minerals and rare earths, metals and mining, aluminium and steel downstream, LNG storage, green energy, artificial intelligence and data centres.

 

Companies showing investment interest include CAZBAA Project Ventures FZCO for LNG storage, Rana Holdings Limited for green energy and AI data centres, Sharaf Group in housing, and PTCL Infrastructure for steel and downstream industries. Investment intents were also received from Dalwin Marine and Turbo Power Engineering for ship repair, Ion Technologies Pvt Ltd for a propellant manufacturing plant, and Agrifields FZCO for fertilisers and chemicals.

 

The concluding Odisha Investors' Meet in Dubai brought together around 400 business leaders and investors from the UAE business community. Officials said the latest proposals take Odisha's overall investment pipeline to approximately ₹22.5 lakh crore, with the state government's focus now shifting toward converting these commitments into on-ground projects.
