NTPC REL Invites Bids for 600 MW Solar EPC Package with Land Near Dhule Solar Project, Maharashtra

Power Generation Oct 19,2026

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has invited bids for an EPC package with land to develop up to 600 MW of solar capacity. The project is an ISTS-connected, ground-mounted solar plant near NTPC REL’s Dhule Solar Project in Maharashtra. It comprises two blocks of 300 MW each. Bids are due by November 13, 2026.

The EPC developer must handle design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, transportation, storage and installation of the solar project. The scope also covers commissioning and operation and maintenance (O&M) of the grid-connected plant.

The developer must identify, acquire and transfer ownership or lease of encumbrance-free land to NTPC REL. This includes land for the BESS project owner. The developer must also build a dedicated 220 kV transmission line, including right of way, from the solar plant to NTPC REL’s Dhule Solar Project PSS. It must supply, erect and commission new 220 kV terminal line bays and a terminal bay at that PSS. The evacuation scheme may use a single common PSS or two separate PSSs.

Eligibility is set by minimum net worth or turnover. Each 300 MW block requires ₹192 crore, so bidding for both blocks requires ₹384 crore. The source does not give the BESS capacity or the project cost.
