A new parallel bridge will soon be constructed on the Gurgaon-Jhajjar Road in Dhankot in Haryana to ease traffic congestion. The existing single-lane bridge is insufficient to handle the growing traffic load.
Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar highlighted the need for this new bridge to increase the road capacity. The key route connecting Shyam Baba Chowk to Dwarka Expressway, has seen increased traffic due to the development of new sectors.
Minister Rao Narbir Singh recently inspected the road and directed PWD, GMDA, and municipal authorities to collaborate on resolving these issues. Efforts are also underway to address waterlogging in the city, with 90 affected points, most of which have been resolved.
