Manufacturing  -  Nov 09,2024  -

Mitsubishi Electric's subsidiary, Climaveneta, is set to make a significant investment of ₹400 crore to establish a new manufacturing plant in the Bengaluru region. The plant will focus on producing energy-efficient HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) solutions, catering to both domestic and international markets.

The new facility will be designed to manufacture cutting-edge products, including energy-saving air conditioning and climate control systems, with a particular emphasis on environmentally sustainable technologies. This investment aligns with the growing demand for energy-efficient solutions in India's building and infrastructure sectors, where there is a strong push for reducing energy consumption and enhancing sustainability.

The project is expected to create significant job opportunities in the region, contributing to local economic development while also supporting the government's "Make in India" initiative. The facility will employ advanced manufacturing techniques and will be equipped with modern research and development capabilities to produce high-quality HVAC systems that comply with global standards.

Climaveneta's decision to invest in this state-of-the-art plant near Bengaluru also underlines the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in India, a key growth market for energy-efficient products. As the Indian market increasingly focuses on sustainable building solutions and smart infrastructure, Climaveneta aims to provide state-of-the-art, energy-efficient climate control systems for a wide range of industries, from residential and commercial buildings to industrial applications.
