Mirai Aerospace Signs MoU with GreenValley International for Local LiDAR Assembly and Manufacturing in India
Mirai Aerospace Systems and Software Solutions has signed an MoU with US-based GreenValley International Inc to build India's geospatial and LiDAR remote sensing manufacturing base. The initial pact covers local assembly, manufacturing, technical support and development of AI-driven LiDAR applications. It builds on an existing distribution relationship between the two companies.
Mirai will lead local assembly and manufacturing under the Make in India framework. It will start with assembly and expand localisation as volumes grow. Mirai will provide manufacturing facilities, workforce and operational support for local production and certification. GreenValley will provide technical documentation, assembly kits and quality standards. The source does not name a location for the facility.
Mirai will also set up a dedicated after-sales service and calibration centre in India for nationwide technical support. The two companies plan to jointly develop AI-based point-cloud processing, automated feature extraction and digital-twin applications using GreenValley's LiDAR360 software. Mirai will run pilot projects in surveying, mapping, mining and infrastructure.
