Maiden Forgings Commences Operations at New Bhojpur Facility, Completing Unit II Consolidation Phase I
Maiden Forgings Limited (MFL), a manufacturer of Bright Steel bars, wires and pneumatic nails, has commenced operations at its new manufacturing facility in Bhojpur, Bihar. Operations formally began on July 18, 2026, following an inaugural ceremony at the site, with product dispatches starting the same week.
The launch marks the completion of the first phase of the company's plant consolidation programme, involving the complete relocation of Unit II to a larger, technologically upgraded facility. MFL said the consolidation is expected to generate annual savings of approximately ₹2.5 crore through lower power, fuel and labour costs.
The Bhojpur facility is intended to support the company's growth plans in the B2G (business-to-government) and defence segments, along with value-added product lines. MFL holds registrations with the Ordnance Factory Board and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The company is also progressing plans for a solar power installation at the facility and setting up a dedicated Innovation Centre focused on developing patented product lines.
The consolidation follows MFL's earlier acquisition of a 4-acre land parcel in Modinagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, intended to further consolidate Units II and III and support the company's manufacturing expansion over the next 5-7 years. MFL is now working to finalise the remaining phases of its consolidation programme, with further updates expected in the coming months.
