L&T Wins Up to ₹5,000 Crore ONGC Offshore Order for Ratna-I and NLM-14 Development
Larsen & Toubro's energy hydrocarbon offshore business, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore), has secured a large order from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for additional development projects off India's west coast. The company did not disclose the exact contract value but classifies a "large" order as one valued between ₹2,500 crore and ₹5,000 crore.
The order covers the Additional Development of Ratna-I (ADR-I) and the NLM-14 project. Under the contract, L&T will undertake engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) work, including three new well-head platforms, one riser platform, and multiple sections of subsea pipelines and cables. The scope also includes brownfield modifications to ONGC's existing offshore installations.
The project is aimed at enhancing production and supporting continued development of ONGC's offshore assets in the region, combining new offshore facilities with work on existing operating fields.
Parthasarathi Chatterjee, Senior Vice President and Head of L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore, said the ADR-I and NLM-14 developments are significant additions to India's offshore energy infrastructure and reflect continued investment in enhancing production from established offshore assets.
