Karnataka HLCC Approves ₹29,679 Crore Across 17 Investment Proposals, Led by Hero Future Energies, Nirani Sugars, TruAlt Bioenergy
The State High-Level Clearance Committee (HLCC), chaired by Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, has approved nine new industrial projects and eight proposals for additional investment, together totalling a total investment of Rs 29,679 crore in Karnataka's industrial sector. The projects are expected to create 66,360 jobs.
Among the new investment projects, Vibrancy Renewable Energies will invest Rs 2,194.94 crore and provide employment to 30,000 people. Mahindra Aerostructures will invest Rs 2,300 crore, creating 3,000 jobs; Aequs Consumer Products will invest Rs 1,104 crore, creating 4,813 jobs. Hero Future Energies will also invest 9,760 crore and create 3,200 jobs.
Further new project investments include Epsilon at Rs 1,500 crore, Toyota Kirloskar at Rs 1,200 crore, Nirani Sugars at Rs 4,062 crore, TruAlt Bioenergy at Rs 2,988 crore and Lighthouse Alternative Assets at Rs 600 crore.
On the expansion side, MSPL will make an additional investment of Rs 884.25 crore, Ensure Reliance Power Solutions Rs 250 crore, Honda Cars Rs 437 crore, Bhima Fine Chemicals Rs 605 crore, Sansera Rs 492.24 crore, TVS Motors Rs 1,050 crore and Havells India Rs 250 crore.
The approvals span multiple industrial sectors, including renewable energy generation, aerospace component manufacturing, auto and auto-component manufacturing, specialty chemicals, and sugar and bioenergy production, reflecting a broad-based industrial investment push across the state.
