Inox Wind Signs MoU To Supply 1,500 MW Wind Turbines To Inox Clean Energy
Inox Wind Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Inox Clean Energy Limited for the supply of 1,500 MW of wind turbines for renewable energy projects across India. Under the agreement, Inox Wind will supply its 3.3 MW and 4X MW wind turbine generators for projects developed by Inox Clean Energy.
The agreement is part of the INOXGFL Group's "One Integrated" renewable energy strategy, which brings together Inox Clean Energy, Inox Wind, Inox Renewable Solutions and Inox Green Energy Services to create an integrated ecosystem spanning generation, manufacturing, EPC, and operations and maintenance.
Inox Clean Energy has built an operational renewable portfolio of approximately 3.5 GW within its first two years and plans to add more than 3 GW of capacity annually, targeting an operational portfolio of 14 GW by FY29. Wind energy is expected to account for 20-30 per cent of these annual additions.
Inox Wind CEO Sanjeev Agarwal said the agreement takes the company's order book past 4.5 GW. Inox Clean Energy CEO Bharat Saxena said the partnership strengthens the company's ability to execute large-scale renewable projects with supply chain reliability drawn from within the group.
Inox Wind operates manufacturing facilities across India and provides end-to-end wind energy solutions, including manufacturing, project execution, and operations and maintenance services, to utilities, independent power producers and corporate customers.
