Grauer & Weil (India) Signs MoU With Germany’s RENA Technologies to Form 50:50 Joint Venture in Solar Manufacturing Value Chain
Grauer & Weil (India) Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RENA Technologies on October 20, 2026. Under it, the two companies will set up a joint venture (JV) in the solar manufacturing value chain. The company disclosed the agreement in a regulatory filing.
The partners plan equal control of the new company, with equal rights in management and governance. RENA, a German technology firm, will license its proprietary technology to the JV and receive a royalty. The royalty amount has not been agreed.
The MoU is a preliminary step. No shares have been issued and no loans are involved, and the filing lists the deal size as not applicable at this stage. Detailed terms will follow in later agreements, which the company will disclose once signed.
Grauer & Weil said RENA has no link to its promoters, promoter group or group companies, so the deal is not a related-party transaction.
