GR Infraprojects Gets Appointed Date for ₹1,898 Crore Bahari–Gondawali Rail EPC Project in Madhya Pradesh
GR Infraprojects Limited has received the appointed date for an estimated ₹1,897.51 crore railway project awarded by West Central Railway in Madhya Pradesh. West Central Railway declared June 15 as the appointed date, with the contract structured under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction mode.
The project forms part of the Sidhi-Singrauli New Rail Link Project. Its scope covers construction of a new railway line between Bahari and Gondawali stations, spanning the 124.400-km to 165.380-km section of the alignment.
The works include earthwork, minor and major bridges, important bridges, viaducts, road-over-bridges, road-under-bridges, limited-height subways, station buildings, tunnels and track infrastructure, along with other associated railway works. GR Infraprojects is required to complete the project within 900 days from the appointed date.
The project is expected to strengthen rail infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh, adding new connectivity and expanding capacity along the corridor through the construction of bridges, tunnels and station facilities.
