Endurance Technologies Commissions ₹47.3 Crore Lithium-Ion Battery Pack Plant At Mindewadi, Pune
Endurance Technologies Limited has commenced commercial production of lithium-ion battery packs at its newly constructed greenfield facility in Mindewadi, Maval taluka, in Pune district, Maharashtra. The facility became operational following a capital expenditure approval cleared by the company's board on 29 April 2025, with the commissioning confirmed in a regulatory filing on 17 June 2026.
The greenfield project required a total capital outlay of approximately ₹47.3 crore. The plant is designed to manufacture lithium-ion battery packs across multiple configurations for clean mobility applications as well as stationary battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The facility builds on electronic sub-assembly capabilities developed by Endurance's subsidiary, Maxwell Energy Systems Private Limited, which designs and supplies battery management systems.
The plant has started operations with an initial installed capacity of approximately 26,000 lithium-ion battery packs per month. The facility's structural layout supports scaling up to 35,000 packs per month through addition of balance-of-plant equipment.
