DMRC Floats Design Consultant Tender for ₹1,025 Crore Tughlakabad–Kalindi Kunj Elevated Metro Corridor Under Delhi Metro Phase 5A

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has floated a tender for the appointment of a detailed design consultant for the Tughlakabad–Kalindi Kunj metro corridor, forming part of the Golden Line extension under Delhi Metro Phase 5A. The tender was issued on May 25, 2026. 

The proposed corridor will span 3.9 km and will connect Tughlakabad with Kalindi Kunj via three elevated stations. The scope also covers development of the Sarita Vihar depot and associated interchange infrastructure. The project cost has been estimated at ₹1,024.87 crore, with the Delhi Government contributing approximately ₹251.36 crore toward the development. 

The project is targeted for completion by 2028–29. Once operational, the Tughlakabad–Kalindi Kunj corridor will strengthen metro connectivity across south and southeast Delhi and improve urban transit access in key
