Davide Traxler, the worldwide CEO of luxury European luggage manufacturer Delsey Paris, revealed plans to establish India as a manufacturing hub.
Traxler acknowledged the importance of India, which accounts for 5% of the brand's overall sales, and he was optimistic about the nation's further expansion.
The company aims to more than double its revenue in India over the next three years. Despite concentration in China, Traxler emphasised their shift, redistributing 50% of production to Southeast Asia, including India.
The executive highlighted India’s positive performance, witnessing a significant increase in turnover over the past two years, driven by evolving consumer preferences in luggage purchases.
