The NHPC has requested bids for the civil work associated with the 500 MW Dugar hydropower project in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, near Luj village.

The scope of work includes building road tunnels, temporary and permanent roads, two temporary bridges, upstream and downstream coffer dams, dams and spillways, plunge pools, main and auxiliary intakes, pressure tunnels and shafts (main and auxiliary), underground power houses, busducts and tunnels, tail race tunnels for main and auxiliary plant and other related adits and structures.

There is a Rs 2,003.11 crore contract value. December 19, 2023, is the deadline for submitting bids.
