Bihar Industries Department Signs MoU with AIM Global Foundation to Develop Food Processing Park
The Bihar Industries Department has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the AIM Global Foundation to promote a dedicated food processing park in the state. The agreement was signed by Kundan Kumar, Secretary, Bihar Industries Department, and H.E. Dawood Al-Shezawi, President, AIM Global Foundation.
The partnership is aimed at developing an integrated agri-food and food processing cluster in Bihar, with a focus on attracting companies, institutions and investors from the UAE and the wider Gulf region.
Under the MoU, the two sides will work to identify concrete investment opportunities in Bihar's food processing sector. The proposed park is intended to strengthen linkages between farmers, industries and global supply chains.
The Bihar Industries Department will take the partnership forward with AIM Global Foundation ahead of the state's Rising Bihar 2026 investment event. The MoU was exchanged on the sidelines of the AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai, giving Bihar a platform to engage directly with UAE and Gulf investors. No investment figure or project location within the state has been disclosed at this stage.
