BEL Signs MoU With Ananth Technologies For Defence And Aerospace Electronics Manufacturing In Bengaluru
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bengaluru-based Ananth Technologies Private Limited (ATL) on August 19, 2026, to jointly develop and manufacture advanced electronic systems and subsystems for defence and aerospace applications.
The MoU was exchanged by Anoop Kumar Rai, Director (Marketing) at BEL, and Anurup Pavuluri, Managing Director of ATL, in the presence of BEL CMD Manoj Jain. Senior officials including Ruchi Pant, GM (Technology Planning), and A.K. Singh, GM (Strategic Planning), from BEL were also present at the signing.
Under the agreement, the two companies will explore joint development and manufacturing across key strategic technology areas, including missiles, radars, satellites and navigation systems. The partnership brings together BEL's established base in defence electronics with ATL's expertise in aerospace and advanced manufacturing.
The collaboration is intended to cover the full production chain, spanning system engineering, electronics manufacturing, integration, testing and production, with the stated aim of reducing dependence on imported defence technologies for current and future strategic programmes.
The MoU is positioned as part of BEL's broader push to strengthen indigenous capabilities and build a domestic supply base for critical defence and aerospace electronics.
