AP CM to Launch ₹3,847 Crore Industrial Projects, Sign MoUs Worth ₹1,026 Crore in Kuppam
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited his Kuppam Assembly constituency from July 3 to 5, laying the foundation stone for 12 industrial projects worth ₹3,847 crore at Pogurupalle village in Gudipalle mandal, Chittoor district. The projects are expected to generate around 23,000 jobs in the region.
During the visit, state government officials signed MoUs worth ₹1,026 crore with companies planning to establish new units in Kuppam, signalling further industrial investment in the constituency.
Among the completed projects inaugurated was ABIS Proteins Private Limited's greenfield poultry and chicken processing unit, set up on 30.75 acres with an investment of ₹200 crore, developed by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC).
A 44.58-acre MSME Park comprising 167 industrial plots was also planned for inauguration as part of the broader industrial push in Kuppam, along with review of the Kuppam Master Plan and Swarna Kuppam Vision-2029, developed in consultation with representatives from IIT Kanpur.
The initiative forms part of a wider effort to position Kuppam as an industrial hub within Chittoor district, combining greenfield project launches, MoU-based investment commitments, and supporting infrastructure development such as an MSME park and industrial plots.
