Andhra Pradesh Approves ₹1,638 Crore Land Acquisition of 6,248 Acres for Phase-II Expansion of Mulapeta, Machilipatnam and Ramayapatnam Ports

The Andhra Pradesh government has approved ₹1,638 crore for the Phase-II acquisition of 6,248 acres to develop the greenfield ports at Mulapeta, Machilipatnam and Ramayapatnam. The allocation includes 1,903 acres (₹440 crore) for Mulapeta, 1,421 acres (₹347 crore) for Machilipatnam, and 2,924 acres (₹851 crore) for Ramayapatnam, with funding from the Andhra Pradesh Maritime Board.
The land acquisition will support the next phase of construction and capacity expansion of the three ports, strengthening Andhra Pradesh's maritime and coastal logistics infrastructure.
